Ilse STOCKINGER (*1971) holds a PhD in Law from the University of Innsbruck. She started her career as a lawyer in 2002. Three years later she became CEO at Wiener StadtwerkeBeteiligungsmanagement GmbH(2005-2012).
Since 2011 Ms Stockinger is head of the department Research, Technology and Innovation at the Wiener Stadtwerke group. In recent years she has been initiating several outstanding R&D initiatives. One of these– URBEM -Urban Energy and Mobility Systems – is an inter-disciplinary doctorate course that aims to develop future scenarios for the city of Vienna in order to maintain its status as a sustainable, supply-secure, affordable and liveable city. http://urbem.tuwien.ac.at
Furhermore Ilse Stockinger is CEO of Neue Urbane Mobilität Wien GmbH, where she promotes several research projects in the mobility sector. A remarkable example of her work is the research project SMILE that makes „Integrated Mobility“both tangible and usable.
